About Us

FishTheSpot endeavors to provide the best package of illustration and geographical information about spots all around the water in New Zealand.
During multiple journeys and the last 18 months, we travelled and extensively researched throughout New Zealand to present the most scenic spots via this website to a wider public.
Many thanks to the organizations of Fish & Game, Department of Conservation and LINZ, which provided the base for our information platform. Without the high quality map material of LINZ and the almost endless information about fishing in New Zealand from Fish & Game this site would not be existing.
Special thanks also to all the friendly locals, fisherman and guides who always pointed us out in the right direction.
